Villa Under Seige...

The game's fourth level. Didn't even plan on completing the mission. Just pressed START to check it out and regain my bearings... (with the plan to ultimately finish it later)

From what I remembered, the Villa is quite a complex, and I was right.
Still, I enjoyed the mission much more this time round.

Bumped into Ken Lobb, who was lounging around the comfy part of the Villa...

He slugged me in the face when I asked him about beta GoldenEye.
I didn't want to subdue him, but he pretty well left me no choice.

Just like 25 years ago, somehow I went around a few times before finally re-discovering the stairway to the basement via the kitchen.

Fought my way through the basement, just barely alive.

Only part that stumped me was reactivating the damned Windmill. Knew it had to be some kind of trick...
After clearing the area of baddies, gotta quickly activate the two hubs, and then dash towards the room with the big tall windmill base (by following the line on the floor).

With ample ammunition and very little health, I wasn't taking any chances. Blasted every shadow, and emptied entire clips at moving guards.

Many bottles of spirits were destroyed in this rescue.
Destroying ALL of the bottles will result in verbal scolding by Daniel Carrington.
(A silly Easter egg that's worth doing at least once...)

Knew I was getting close to the final room... One large open cellar, with shelves and bottles throughout. Shooting anything that looked like a head - knowing damned well that some of them were bottles.

Made it to the end, and found a defeated guard laying on the ground with a keycard.

Surely Carrington won't notice if I swipe a bottle or two from his basement...
Talking computers, rumors of aliens - Gonna need it to get through this messed up storyline.
