Background

A
craft carrying institute advisors has been shot down in
Nevada. Debris from the crash and the bodies of the advisors
have been taken to Area 51. A spy inside the base has managed
to get footage to the institute of a possible survivor.
This mission is to rescue that survivor.

|
A
relatively simple mission, but with a few tough spots. You
can enter the fortified base by opening the main door. Of
course, this is not the best way, as drone guns will be
pointed on you. Instead, head through the hole in the fence,
and toss in a grenade to wipe out the land mines. The robot
interceptors are machines that are on the ground. One interceptor
is located in the inner walls of the base. Destroy this
one first, as it will be mobile, and in the air shooting
at you when you return from planing the comms rider.

Watch just a bit of the opening cinema scene. This will allow a bit of time for a patrolling
guard to be seconds past you when you start. Eliminate one of these two guards from behind,
then take out the second one before he rushes to activate a nearby
drone gun. Turn around, and follow the path, where you'll meet
up with two guards.
|
Around
the corner, and straight ahead, is a drone gun at the end of the
path. Lean out behind this pillar, and shoot blasts at it, ducking
in and out until it is destroyed. Follow the path as it turns
left, and you can see another drone gun in the opening, to the
left. From far enough back, you can shoot it, and it won't see
you.

Head
right, and follow the wall. Guards in a nearby tower will shoot
at you, but if you keep running at full speed, and get behind
the tower, you're chances of being hit are slim. Once behind the
tower, you can creep towards the ladder, and hopefully nail a
guard in the arm, then lean in, and take a better shot. A second
guard awaits in the tower.

After
the tower, head down the ladder, and forward. Around a corner,
is a fence with a hole in it. You should have picked up at least
one grenade from a fallen guard. Throw it into the open field.
The hidden land mines will explode, making it safe for you to
pass. Pick up the Rocket Launcher in the middle, and find a passage
far on the left wall.

The
passage leads you inside a small fortress. Guards patrol there.
Luck will have you come up from behind, but prepared to be face
to face. To the left, are two drone guns that you can shoot easily,
from behind. They won't turn around to shoot you. Around the other
way, and around the corner, is another drone gun.
|
In
the open, where the last drone gun was facing, is an unarmed man
working on an interceptor. Knock him out, and don't kill him.
Grab his keycard, then step back and blow up the machine he was
working on, which is one of the three interceptors that you must
destroy.
|
Head
back to the block where the last drone gun was, and find the stone
covering. There is a ladder, and an underground station. Plant
your explosives on the computer. On Perfect Agent, a laser grid
system will now be activated. They cycle on, and off. You can
step through some of them when they fade, but others are permanent,
and you must crouch through. Get out of that underground station
before it explodes, and destroys the radar. Objective
1: Complete.

Head
back, through the passage, out the fence, and to the left. You'll
be in a long open tunnel. At the end, a drone gun is visible to
the left. It is really sensitive, and will shoot immediately.
There is only a fine point where you can shoot it, and it won't
shoot back. But guards await in this area, and will swarm you.
A well placed grenade will take care of most of them.

Head
across the small bridge, and past the disabled drone gun, to the
right. There are three holds in the wall, and the two closest
ones to you contain interceptors that must be destroyed. Shoot
them, or use grenades or your lone Rocket if appropriate. Objective
3: Complete.
|
Find
and activate a panel on the stone structure. This will cause the
antenna to lower. Plant toe Comms rider on the dish. Objective
2: Complete.
Guards will now emerge from a far door, which is guarded by a
drone gun. You can leave immediately, or stay and fight. Leaving
is ideal, but wiping out the force will give you more ammo, and
one guard carries double MagSec 4s.

All
the way back where you came from, near the hole in the fence,
guards will appear. Dispose of them as soon as possible. Head
through the hole in the fence, through the passage, and past the
underground station. There is a switch on the wall, that will
activate the elevator, now that you have the keycard from the
mechanic.
|
Two
guards await in the elevator, as do more guards when you reach
the bottom. Ducking behind the crates in the elevator is an option.
|
Exit
the elevator, into the hangar. Objective
4: Complete.
Head straight ahead, and around the wall, to the left. A guard
in front of a big door ahead will hit the dirt. Make sure he doesn't
get up again. Head for the door, and up the ramp beside it, watching
for guards.
|
After
more guards, you'll reach the elevator on the upper walkways of
that hangar. Enter it, and take a ride. You'll emerge in the final
room, with more guards to kill. They can be tough, especially
if you are caught between numbers at once.
|
Pick
them off with aggressive, accurate shots. Jump down, and enter
the door on the floor, closest to where you leave that platform.
The cinema scene will begin, as you make contact with the CI spy.
Objective
5: Complete.
