This
mission is quite easy compared to some of the previous missions.
Speed will be an asset, as the faster you are, the fewer
guards you will deal with. Also, your starting point will
depend on where you exited the previous level, air Base
Espionage. If you entered the plane from high up in the
main deck, you'll begin on the main floor. If you entered
it from underneath, past the laser grid system, you'll begin
the underside of the plane. It doesn't make much difference
though. I prefer starting on the main deck, because it's
the easiest way to have exited the previous mission. You
will be closer to your first objective if you exited through
the laser grid system though.
|
This
first section of walkthru assumes you exited air Base Espionage
from atop air Force One. If not, then skip ahead two paragraphs.
From this starting point, just head forward, through the door
in front of you, not harming the presidential security force,
of course. Just keep heading forward, through a total of four
doors, until you reach the end, where a red grate hatch is on
the floor. Open it, and hop down.
|
Down
the hatch, and through a door, is the escape pod for later in
the mission. Just pass by it, and through a number of rooms in
the planes underbelly, until you reach two members of the flight
crew working in the kitchen. The man will identify you as a spy,
so knock both of them out with your firsts. Continue on, through
a room with a hoverbike that you can't use, and into the last
room.
|
This
is where you'll start if you exited air Base Espionage through
the laser grid system. A man in brown overalls is here, and he
will sometimes pull out a Cyclone on you. You can build up ammo
this way, as he'll pull out more and more of them, if you disarm
him. After you knock him out with your fists, grab his keycard,
and activate the red button on a pole.
|
The
button turns green, and the lift raises, revealing your equipment.
Pick it up. Objective
1: Complete.
Head back, into the room with the hoverbike, and activate the
switch in that room, if you want the hoverbike to be available
for you in the next mission. You might as well, it only takes
two seconds.
|
Keep
going, into the next room, where you knocked out two crewmembers.
There is a food lift at the back of that room. You can crouch,
and use it to lift yourself to the main deck, where you started
the mission. Just activate the computer beside it on the wall.
It saves time, and a confrontation with Presidential Security,
who will now be after you. Head through the door that you see
when you exit the lift.
|
In
that room, dodge the Security, and head up the stairs. At the
top of the stairs, hang left, and head all the way left, into
the President's room. Confront him to get Objective
2: Complete.
After you speak with him, and watch a cinema scene, you can exit.
Do not exit his room before that, or he'll call security. You
can exit through the door you entered from, or the door behind
him.
|
Head
down the stairs, and to the left. Black-clad NSA Bodyguards will be
swarming the air Force One, so take them out with well placed
head shots to maximize damage. Pick up any ammo from fallen Presidential
Security. Once you collect enough of their K7 Avengers, use that
high power weapon.
|
Head
forward, through sets of doors, and you'll encounter more NSA
Bodyguards. Take them out with well placed head shots. In a next
room, you'll catch a glimpse of Trent Easton. Ignore him as he
flees, and jump back, to let his Blonde Guards fire at you. Immediately
after their fire, lean back in, and paste them with head shots.
This is the most effective way to deal with the heavily shielded
guards.
|
The
same goes for the Blonde guard on the left. Lean out for a split
second, and lean back in while he fires. When he stops, lean out
and get him with head shots, and be prepared for more NSA Bodyguards
to appear behind him. Enter the door behind him, and find the
red floor hatch again, and head down it.
|
The
president will follow, but beware of another NSA Bodyguard who
is usually in this room. Kill the Bodyguard, and allow the president
to enter the escape capsule. Head back upwards, all the way back,
sticking to your left side of the plane. Find this alien-like
tunnel, and toss your lone Timed mine into it, and run. It will
explode on it's own, while you're safely running to complete your
next objective. Objective
5: Complete.
|
Head
up the stairs, and this time, keep heading forward instead of
turning back to the President's room. A few guards will await
you, but they are easily taken care of.
|
You'll
eventually reach the cockpit of the air Force one. A small button
awaits on the controls, straight ahead, and two guards are present.
Charge in, and hit the button. The cinema scene kicks in, and
the mission ends when you push this button, and the guards will
not have time to react to you being in the cockpit. Objective
4: Complete.
It is important to complete this final objective as quick as possible
after detaching the UFO with the timed mine, as the air Force
One will crash in a specified time, and you are given just a bit
more time than you need to press the button, and secure the flight
path.
