  Combat Simulator Challenges

There are 30 Challenges in the Combat Simulator (aka Multiplayer) mode.

Various items are unlocked by completing each challenge:
Scenarios, Weapons, Levels, and Characters - All of which become available for Multiplayer.

Quick briefing of each challenge, complete with all important info, and a few notes. For the quick chart off all the extras you can earn, see Unlockables (Combat Simulator Earnings).

For hints and strategies to complete the challenges, see Challenge Tips.

Challenges are played against computer controlled "Simulants" (aka Bots). Naturally, the difficulty level increases as you progress.

CHALLENGE #1:

Scenario: Combat

Arena: Skedar

Weapons: Falcon 2, CMP150, Sniper Rifle, DY357 Magnum, and Disabled

SIMS: (number and type of computer controlled simulants) (ALL are MeatSims):

1 player: ShockSim: (dataDyne Shock Trooper)

2 player: ShockSim: (dataDyne Shock Trooper)

3 player: ShockSim, GuardSim: (dataDyne Shock Trooper, dataDyne Guard)

4 player: ShockSim, GuardSim: (dataDyne Shock Trooper, dataDyne Guard)

Your basic warm up challenge. Should be no problem at all, even if you haven't played PD whatsoever. Kill the computer more times than it kills you. The computer sim(s) are often caught unarmed, and must run to find a weapon, but they don't dodge your bullets when running. Take advantage of that, and aim for the head.

CHALLENGE #2:

Scenario: Combat

Arena: Area 52

Weapons: Combat Knife, Falcon 2, Cyclone, Dragon, Rocket Launcher, and Disabled

SIMS: (number and type of computer controlled simulants) (ALL are MeatSims):

1 player: ShockSim: (dataDyne Shock Trooper)

2 player: ShockSim, GuardSim: (dataDyne Shock Trooper, dataDyne Guard)

3 player: ShockSim, GuardSim (dataDyne Shock Trooper, dataDyne Guard)

4 player: ShockSim, Shock Sim2, GuardSim: (dataDyne Shock Trooper, dataDyne Guard, dataDyne Shock Trooper)

Still easy, but just a slight bit harder than the first challenge. The Sims are MeatSim class again, meaning they're pretty basic, and easy to dispose of.

CHALLENGE #3:

Scenario: Combat

Arena: Pipes

Weapons: MagSec4, CMP150, Timed Mines, Dragon, AR34, and Disabled

SIMS: (number and type of computer controlled simulants) (ALL are MeatSims):

1 player: TechSim, TechSim2: (Male Technician, Female Technician)

2 player: TechSim, TechSim2: (Male Technician, Female Technician)

3 player: TechSim, TechSim2, TechSim3: (Male Technician X2, Female Technician)

4 player: TechSim, TechSim2, TechSim3, TechSim4: (Male Technician X2, Female Technician X2)

A bit harder, considering that now you can actually lose your footing in some areas and plunge to your death. And now, you'll always have at least two sims to deal with, regardless of how many players you have. Follow your radar to their starting points, and eliminate them.

CHALLENGE #4:

Scenario: King of Hill

Arena: Skedar

Weapons: MagSec4, CMP150, Dragon, K7 Avenger, Shield, and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: CISim (easy): (CIA Agent)

2 player: CISim (easy), CISim2 (meat): (CIA Agent X2)

3 player: CISim (easy), CISim2, (easy): (CIA Agent X2)

4 player: CISim (easy), CISim2 (easy), CISim3 (meat): (CIA Agent X3)

Finally, a bit of change. It's not kill totals that win in this one, it's the number of 'hills' you get: A location appears on the map (green), and a team has to capture and defend that location for 18 seconds. After that, they get a point, and a new location appears. As long as you understand the concept of finding and guarding the hill until the time runs down (a timer appears onscreen to show how much longer to hold the location), it's an easy win for GoldenEye players.

CHALLENGE #5:

Scenario: Combat

Arena: Complex

Weapons: Cyclone, Grenade, AR34, Farsight XR-20, Shield, and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: CassSim (easy): (Cassandra deVries)

2 player: CassSim (easy), GuardSim (meat): (Cassandra, dataDyne Guard)

3 player: CassSim (easy), GuardSim (meat), GuardSim2 (meat): (Cassandra, dataDyne Guard X2)

4 player: CassSim (easy), GuardSim (easy), GuardSim2 (meat): (Cassandra, dataDyne Guard X2)

Just another straight forward combat scenario, but in a level that is familiar to Goldeneye veterans. Watch the radar, and head to freshly killed simulants' starting locations.

CHALLENGE #6:

Scenario: Capture the Case

Arena: Area 52

Weapons: CMP150, DY357 Magnum, Shotgun, K7 Avenger, Shield, and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: WorkSim (meat), WorkSim2 (meat). WorkSim3 (meat), WorkSim4 (meat): (Office Suit X4)

2 player: WorkSim (meat), WorkSim2 (meat). WorkSim3 (meat), WorkSim4 (meat): (Office Suit X4)

3 player: WorkSim (easy), WorkSim2 (meat). WorkSim3 (meat), WorkSim4 (meat): (Office Suit X4)

4 player: WorkSim (easy), WorkSim2 (easy). WorkSim3 (meat), WorkSim4 (meat): (Office Suit X4)

Just find the case, grab it, and run. You'll be severely outnumbered if you go this one alone, but if you go it alone, all your opposition will be MeatSims. Chase them down, and kill them before they grab a weapon: MeatSims take forever to find and equip a weapon..

CHALLENGE #7:

Scenario: King of the Hill

Arena: Warehouse

Weapons: Falcon 2 (silencer), MagSec4, Cyclone, Grenade, Shield, and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: JoSim (easy): (Joanna Dark)

2 player: JoSim (easy), JoSim (meat): (Joanna Dark X2)

3 player: JoSim (easy), JoSim (easy): (Joanna Dark X2)

4 player: JoSim (easy), JoSim (easy): (Joanna Dark X2)

Some areas of the Warehouse may be a bit hard to find by the radar, but the challenge isn't really that hard. But after beating this challenge, you hit the jackpot in terms of what you can now use for Multiplayer, including the Goldeneye Temple, the total of 8 simulants you can now use, two key Solo Mission characters, AND the infamous Bond tuxedos.

CHALLENGE #8:

Scenario: Capture the Case

Arena: Skedar

Weapons: MagSec 4, K7 Avenger, Shotgun, Super Dragon, Shield, and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: SnipeSim (easy): (dataDyne Sniper)

2 player: SnipeSim (easy), SnipeSim (easy): (dataDyne Sniper X2)

3 player: SnipeSim (easy), SnipeSim (easy), SnipeSim (meat): (dataDyne Sniper X3)

4 player: SnipeSim (easy), SnipeSim (easy), SnipeSim (meat), SnipeSim (meat): (dataDyne Sniper X4)

Strangely enough, the sims tend to leave you alone when you're completing this challenge. It's no problem at all to finish, just keep repeatedly grabbing the sim's case, and uniting it with your own for points.

CHALLENGE #9:

Scenario: Combat One hit Kills

Arena: Ravine

Weapons: Falcon 2, DY357 Magnum, Timed Mines, Laptop Gun, and Farsight XR-20

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: TrentSim (normal): (Trent Easton)

2 player: TrentSim (normal): (Trent Easton)

3 player: TrentSim (normal), NSASim (meat): (Trent Easton, NSA Lackey)

4 player: TrentSim (normal), NSASim (easy): (Trent Easton, NSA Lackey)

Ah, License to Kill mode... Well, it's actually 'One hit kills', but it's the same thing. Get a hold of the Farsight weapon, and snipe the sims from long range through the walls. Use it's secondary function (by holding B) auto targeting, where the gun will seek out targets for you. You just have to adjust the aim slightly, and pull the trigger when a target is found. Be careful not to get caught up following a target though- looking through the lens, you can't always tell how far away an enemy is- until he blasts you because he was right in your face.

CHALLENGE #10:

Scenario: Hacker Central

Arena: Temple

Weapons: CMP150, Cyclone, Remote Mines, AR34, Shield, and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: GuardSim (easy): (G5 Guard)

2 player: GuardSim (normal), SwatSim (easy): (G5 Guard, G5 SWAT Guard)

3 player: GuardSim (normal), SwatSim (easy), GuardSim2 (easy): (G5 Guard, G5 SWAT Guard, G5 Guard)

4 player: GuardSim (normal), SwatSim (normal), GuardSim2 (easy): (G5 Guard, G5 SWAT Guard, G5 Guard)

A bit more challenging, but the hardest part is just to figure out what to do. You need to find the data uplink, and bring it to the computer terminal. Both items are shown as green on the map. Once you reach the terminal with the uplink, you have to hold 'A', and select it as a weapon, and use it on the terminal, and hold it there until the download is complete. Once finished, try uploading again. You have to stay by the computer, and you can't arm a weapon while downloading. It's a bit easier to have another human player to protect the downloader.

CHALLENGE #11:

Scenario: King of the Hill

Arena: Complex

Weapons: MagSec 4, Tranquilizer, Shotgun, K7 Avenger, Shield, and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: BlondeSim (normal): (Mr. Blonde)

2 player: BlondeSim (normal), BlondeSim (normal): (Mr. Blonde X2)

3 player: SnipeSim (easy), SnipeSim (easy), SnipeSim (meat): (dataDyne Sniper X3)

4 player: BlondeSim (hard), BlondeSim (normal), BlondeSim (easy), BlondeSim (meat): (Mr. Blonde X4)

I found that this challenge went drastically one way or another. The first attempt led to a 10-4 loss, but the second attempt was a 10-1 win. The challenge isn't all that hard, as long as you have a rough map of the Complex in your mind, and can quickly hurry to and protect the fresh hills.

CHALLENGE #12:

Scenario: Combat
SlowMotion Combat: ON

Arena: Skedar

Weapons: Falcon 2 (scope), Sniper Rifle, Shotgun, SuperDragon, Shield, and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: JoSim (hard): (Joanna)

2 player: JoSim (hard), JoSim (normal): (Joanna X2)

3 player: JoSim (hard), JoSim (normal), JoSim (easy): (Joanna X3)

4 player: JoSim (hard), JoSim (normal), JoSim (easy), JoSim (easy): (Joanna X3)

This can be an agonizingly long battle. Especially if playing with four human players. It's already set on slow motion combat, but playing with four human controlled players slows it down tremendously more than when playing alone. Not all that difficult of a challenge though. Your shooting will be slowed down, and so will the enemy's reaction. Plenty of time to aim for head shots.

CHALLENGE #13:

Scenario: Combat
One-Hit Kills: ON

Arena: G5 Building

Weapons: Falcon 2 (silencer), Tranquilizer, Laptop Gun, Grenade, Reaper, and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: CIASim (normal): (CIA Agent)

2 player: CIASim (normal), FBISim (easy): (CIA Agent, FBI Agent)

3 player: CIASim (normal), FBISim (easy), CIASim2 (easy): (CIA Agent, FBI Agent, CIA Agent)

4 player: CIASim (normal), FBISim (easy), CIASim2 (easy), FBISim2 (easy): (CIA Agent, FBI Agent, CIA Agent, FBI Agent)

Good 'ol License to Kill Mode, with one CPU controlled player against every human player you have. These guys can be a pest, so watch the radar, and be ready to fire when one comes running around a corner. Even worse is when they sneakily get you with a grenade, since you can't see their screens.

CHALLENGE #14:

Scenario: Capture the Case

Arena: Area 52

Weapons: Cyclone, SuperDragon, K7 Avenger, FarSight XR-20, Cloaking, and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: GuardSim (normal), TroopSim (easy): (Area51: Guard+Trooper)

2 player: GuardSim (normal), TroopSim (easy), GuardSim2 (easy), AirSim (easy): (Area51 Guard X2, Area 51 Trooper, Pilot)

3 player: GuardSim (hard), TroopSim (normal), GuardSim2 (easy), AirSim (easy), GuardSim3 (easy): (Area51 Guard X3, Area 51 Trooper, Pilot)

4 player: GuardSim (hard), TroopSim (normal), GuardSim2 (easy), AirSim (easy), GuardSim3 (easy), TroopSim2 (easy): (Area51 Guard X3, Area 51 TrooperX2, Pilot)

Despite the enormous numbers of your opposition, most of them are EasySims, so you don't need to worry much. Quite a coincidence that after beating this challenge in the top secret Area 52, that you earn all the alien characters for Multiplayer.

CHALLENGE #15:

 Scenario: Hold the Briefcase

Arena: Grid

Weapons: MagSec4 , Dragon, Shotgun, Devastator, Shield, and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: LabSim (normal), LabSim2 (meat): (Lab Technician X2)

2 player: LabSim (hard), LabSim2 (normal), LabSim3 (meat): (Lab Technician X3)

3 player: LabSim (hard), LabSim2 (normal), LabSim3 (easy) LabSim4 (meat): (Lab Technician X4)

4 player: LabSim (hard), LabSim2 (normal), LabSim3 (easy), LabSim4 (easy) , LabSim5 (meat): (Lab Technician X5)

This can be a pain. The simulants' weapon of choice tends to be the Devastator, and they have surprisingly good aim when firing it's grenade rounds at you. Their first priority is to kill you, even if they kill themselves in the process.

CHALLENGE #16:

Scenario: Combat
Radar: Off

Arena: Felicity

Weapons: Falcon 2, K7 Avenger, SuperDragon, Proximity Mine, Shield, and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: BioSim (perfect): (Biotechnician)

2 player: BioSim (perfect), BioSim2 (normal): (Biotechnician X2)

3 player: BioSim (perfect), BioSim2 (hard), Biosim3 (meat): (Biotechnician X3)

4 player: BioSim (perfect), BioSim2 (hard), Biosim3 (easy), BioSim (easy): (Biotechnician X4)

This is where things start to get tough. The perfect sim is introduced here. The perfect sim is highly competitive, accurate, aggressive, and deadly. The best way to finish this challenge, is to go it alone, so you only have to worry about one simulant. Find the stash of proximity mines, and guard that room. Plant mines in the hall outside that room, and on the door. The BioSim will attempt to reach you, but will be blown up almost all the time. When this occurs, replace the mines that were exploded. This technique is the most effective of any to complete this challenge.

CHALLENGE #17:

Scenario: King of the Hill

Arena: Temple

Weapons: DY357 Magnum, AR34, Reaper, Slayer, Shield, and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: DanSim (perfect): (Carrington)

2 player: DanSim (hard), CISim (easy), CISim2 (meat), CISim3 (meat): (Carrington, CI Soldier X3)

3 player: DanSim (perfect), CISim (normal), CISim2 (easy): (Carrington, CI Soldier X2)

4 player: DanSim (perfect), CISim (normal), CISim2 (easy), CISim3 (meat): (Carrington, CI Soldier X3)

Another challenge that is actually a bit challenging. It's not that hard though, the main thing is the Slayer's second function, the fly by wire. The computer simulants use this very often, and tend to get you from behind.

CHALLENGE #18:

Scenario: King of the Hill

Arena: Villa

Weapons: Falcon 2, Phoenix, Tranquilizer, Laptop Gun, Shield, and Cloaking Device

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: ElvisSim (perfect), MaianSim (meat): (Elvis, Maian)

2 player: ElvisSim (perfect), MaianSim (hard): (Elvis, Maian)

3 player: ElvisSim (perfect), MaianSim (hard), MaianSim2 (meat): (Elvis, Maian X2)

4 player: ElvisSim (normal), MaianSim (normal), MaianSim2 (easy), MaianSim3 (easy), MaianSim4 (meat), MaianSim5 (meat): (Elvis, Maian X5)

Now this is where the challenges change from fun, to a chore. The perfect sim gives you no slack, and shoots only head shots. Your main chance for victory is to hope that he gets stuck against a wall, which happens very occasionally. And I almost forgot... Since your opponents are Maian aliens, they're half the target of the enemies you're used to.

CHALLENGE #19:

Scenario: Combat
Fast Movement: ON

Arena: G5 Building

Weapons: CMP150, Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, FarSight, Shield, and Combat Boost

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: CassSim (hard), TrentSim (easy): (Cassandra DeVries, Trent Easton)

2 player: CassSim (perfect), TrentSim (perfect): (Cassandra DeVries, Trent Easton)

3 player: CassSim (perfect), TrentSim (hard), SnipeSim (normal): (Cassandra DeVries, Trent Easton, dataDyne Sniper)

4 player: CassSim (perfect), TrentSim (hard), SnipeSim (normal), SnipeSim2 (easy): (Cassandra DeVries, Trent Easton, dataDyne Sniper X2)

This is a brutal battle where the simulants often seem to emerge from nowhere. One of the most effective tactics is to use the FarSight's target locator, and pick off all the simulants as quick as possible. This leaves them unarmed, and racks up your points quicker. Beware though, because you can follow a simulant around through the lens for a while, and not realize that he's getting closer until he's in front of you. But then it's too late-

CHALLENGE #20:

Scenario: Combat
One Hit Kills: ON

Arena: Sewers

Weapons: Mauler, Falcon 2, MagSec 4, DY357 Magnum, Shield, and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: PilotSim (hard): (Air Force One Pilot)

2 player: PilotSim (perfect), PilotSim2 (hard): (Air Force One Pilot X2)

3 player: PilotSim (perfect), PilotSim2 (hard): (Air Force One Pilot X2)

4 player: PilotSim (perfect), PilotSim2 (perfect): (Air Force One Pilot X2)

Now this isn't fair… You have a computer controlled Simulant on your team. That's fine, right? But he is stupid, and gets killed often by your opposing Simulant. So what's the problem? Your team loses points when he gets killed, which add up really quickly. Sometimes he'll surprise you though, defeating the harder Simulant by himself. When I finally beat this challenge, my Simulant had 7 of our 10 kills. Talk about luck. With two and three players, you have two Simulants on your team. With four players, you have three.

CHALLENGE #21:

Scenario: Hacker Central

Arena: Grid

Weapons: Mauler, Reaper, Shotgun, Callisto NTG, Cloaking Device, and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: JoSim (hard): (Joanna)

2 player: JoSim (hard), SnowSim (normal): (Joanna, Alaskan Guard)

3 player: JoSim (hard), SnowSim (normal), SnowSim2 (easy): (Joanna, Alaskan Guard X2)

4 player: JoSim (hard), SnowSim (normal), SnowSim2 (normal), SnowSim3 (easy): (Joanna, Alaskan Guard X3)

This goes on and on... The hacking terminal is usually out in the open, so if you use the Data Uplink there, you'll quickly be killed. Same goes for when the computer simulants are there. Getting points is pretty much luck of the other guy's bad luck: Starting too far away, or near a lousy weapon.

CHALLENGE #22:

Scenario: Capture the Briefase
One Hit Kills: ON

Arena: Base

Weapons: Falcon 2, Sniper Rifle, Crossbow, K7 Avenger, Shield, and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: PresSim (perfect), GuardSim (normal): (The President, Presidential Security)

2 player: PresSim (perfect), GuardSim (normal), GuardSim2 (easy): (The President, Presidential Security X2)

3 player: PresSim (perfect), GuardSim (hard), GuardSim2 (normal): (The President, Presidential Security X2)

4 player: PresSim (perfect), GuardSim (normal), GuardSim2 (normal), GuardSim3 (easy): (The President, Presidential Security X3)

The Perfect Sim in this challenge doesn't miss his shots. The best weapon to have is the K7 Avenger. The Sniper Rifle has long range, but the simulant you spotted across the room will be shooting you in the back before you zoom into where he was. Grab the Briefcase, and just run in the opposite direction of the simulants, trying not to be confronted or trapped. Going out to fight while you're holding the case isn't a wise choice.

CHALLENGE #23:

Scenario: Combat
Slow Motion: ON

Arena: Complex

Weapons: MagSec 4, Grenade, Laptop Gun, RC-P120, K7 Avenger, Shield, and Combat Boost

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: CloneSim (hard), StripeSim (hard): (President's Clone, NSA Bodyguard)

2 player: CloneSim (perfect), StripeSim (perfect): (President's Clone, NSA Bodyguard)

3 player: CloneSim (perfect), StripeSim (perfect), StripeSim2 (hard): (President's Clone, NSA Bodyguard X2)

4 player: CloneSim (perfect), StripeSim (perfect), StripeSim2 (hard), StripeSim3 (hard): (President's Clone, NSA Bodyguard X3)

Quite a quick battle, so you must be prepared. Eliminate whatever you see, as fast as possible: The game ends after a team scores 2 points.

CHALLENGE #24:

Scenario: Capture the Case

Arena: Fortress

Weapons: CMP150, Tranquilizer, Devastator, Super Dragon, DY357-LX and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: GuardSim (easy), TroopSim (easy), AirSim (easy), GuardSim2 (easy): (Area 51 Guard X2, Area 51 Trooper, Pilot)

2 player: GuardSim (normal), TroopSim (normal), AirSim (easy), GuardSim2 (easy): (Area 51 Guard X2, Area 51 Trooper, Pilot)

3 player: GuardSim (hard), TroopSim (normal), AirSim (normal), GuardSim2 (easy), TroopSim2 (easy), AirSim2 (perfect): (Area 51 Guard X2, Area 51 Trooper X2, Pilot X2)

4 player: GuardSim (hard), TroopSim (hard), AirSim (normal), GuardSim2 (normal), TroopSim2 (easy), AirSim2 (easy): (Area 51 Guard X2, Area 51 Trooper X2, Pilot X2)

Outnumbered is what you will feel during this challenge. Defeat enemies as quickly as possible. When you are killed, you start back in your own 'base' by your briefcase. Immediately grab a devastator, and attempt to steal your opponents case. Fire grenades down below, to clear out the simulants guarding their briefcase. Grab it, and hurry back and tag it with your own for the points. This game is time unlimited, and ends only when a team captures the briefcase 3 times, for 9 points..

CHALLENGE #25:

Scenario: Combat

Arena: Ravine

Weapons: Mauler, N-Bomb, K7 Avenger, FarSight XR-20, Cloaking Device and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: ShockSim (perfect), ShockSim2 (hard): (dD Shock Trooper X2)

2 player: ShockSim (perfect), ShockSim2 (perfect), ShockSim3 (hard): (dataDyne Shock Trooper X3)

3 player: ShockSim (perfect), ShockSim2 (perfect), ShockSim3 (hard), ShockSim4 (normal),: (dataDyne Shock Trooper X4)

4 player: ShockSim (perfect), ShockSim2 (perfect), ShockSim3 (perfect), ShockSim4 (hard), ShockSim5 (easy): (dDyne Shock X5)

Once again, the FarSight is your best bet for this challenge. Use the secondary function, the target locator, to seek out the computer controlled Simulants, and destroy them with a single shot.

CHALLENGE #26:

Scenario: King of the Hill

Arena: Ruins

Weapons: Falcon 2, Mauler, Cyclone, Laptop Gun, Reaper, and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: TechSim (perfect), TechSim2 (hard): (CI Lab Technician X2)

2 player: TechSim (perfect), TechSim2 (perfect), CISim (hard), CISim2 (easy): (CI Lab Technician X2, CI Soldier X2)

3 player: TechSim (perfect), TechSim2 (perfect), CISim (perfect), CISim2 (perfect): (CI Lab Technician X2, CI Soldier X2)

4 player: TechSim (perfect), TechSim2 (perfect), CISim (perfect), CISim2 (perfect), CISim3 (perfect) : (CI Lab Technician X2, CI Soldier X3)

It's another race to be the fastest one to the hill. You'll be playing against very tough opponents, and luck will play a big part in your success.

CHALLENGE #27:

Scenario: Hacker Central

Arena: Sewers

Weapons: Falcon 2, MagSec 4, CMP150, Rocket Launcher, Shield, and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: CIASim (perfect): (CIA Agent)

2 player: CIASim (perfect), FBISim(perfect): (CIA Agent, FBI Agent)

3 player: CIASim (perfect), FBISim (perfect), CIASim2 (perfect): (CIA Agent X2, FBI Agent)

4 player: CIASim (perfect), FBISim (perfect), CIASim2 (perfect), FBISim2 (perfect): (CIA Agent X2, FBI Agent X2)

This is yet another difficult challenge. I was very lucky when I finally beat this. My computer opponent spent the whole match stuck in a corner, while I downloaded, and downloaded, and downloaded. I didn't even see him. Talk about pure luck. That's one good thing about playing computer controlled sims: they can have glitches.

CHALLENGE #28:

Scenario: Capture the Case

Arena: Villa

Weapons: Falcon 2, Falcon 2 (silencer), DY357 Magnum, AR34, Shotgun, and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: GuardSim (dark) X2: (Pelagic II Guard X2)

2 player: GuardSim (dark) X3: (Pelagic II Guard X3)

3 player: GuardSim (dark) X5: (Pelagic II Guard X5)

4 player: GuardSim (dark) X5: (Pelagic II Guard X5)

Yikes. The relentless, devastating DarkSim makes it's first appearance. And there will always be more of them than human players. Pure luck yet again assists you in this, if you're lucky enough to have a short trek from your opponents briefcase, to your own. A lengthy walk makes for an easy kill for the DarkSims.

CHALLENGE #29:

Scenario: Combat

Arena: G5 Building

Weapons: Falcon 2, Cyclone, DY357 Magnum, CMp150, Dragon and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: WorkSim (dark) X2: (Office Suit X2)

2 player: WorkSim (dark) X2, GuardSim (dark) (Office Suit X2, dD Female Guard)

3 player: WorkSim (dark) X2, GuardSimX2 (dark) (Office Suit X2, dD Female Guard X2)

4 player: WorkSim (dark) X2, GuardSimX3 (dark) (Office Suit X2, dD Female Guard X3)

Planning a funeral yet? Another whole pack of DarkSims to deal with. What advice can I give, other than… Don't die. Oh yes, of course... Only shoot head shots. If you miss, consider yourself with multiple head shots against you.

CHALLENGE #30:

Scenario: Hill

Arena: Skedar

Weapons: Falcon 2, Falcon 2 (scope), MagSec 4, Mauler, DY357 Magnum, and Disabled

SIMS: (number, type, and character of computer controlled simulants):

1 player: BlondeSim (dark), CassSim (dark): (Mr. Blonde, Cassandra DeVries)

2 player: BlondeSim (dark), CassSim (dark), TrentSim (dark): (Mr. Blonde, Cassandra DeVries, Trent Easton)

3 player: BlondeSim (dark) X2, CassSim (dark), TrentSim (dark): (Mr. Blonde X2, Cassandra DeVries, Trent Easton)

4 player: BlondeSim (dark) X3, CassSim (dark), TrentSim (dark): (Mr. Blonde X3, Cassandra DeVries, Trent Easton)

Well, you get a computer controlled simulant on your team. But he's just a lone CI Soldier, who is killed off by the DarkSims very easily. Like the briefing says, you're up against very elite opposition. Once again, pulling off those successful head shots will be your key to survival in this one.
